Health Literacy Is Often the Answer

Great Lakes Practice Transformation Network (GLPTN) welcomes Dr. Mary Reeves for the second webinar in a two-part series on patient and family engagement. The presentation, entitled, “Health Literacy Is Often the Answer,” will provide participants with practical ideas for increasing health literacy in the clinical setting. Dr. Reeves will describe how to activate patients so they fully participate in shared decision-making opportunities. She’ll also share ways to be more aware of the health literacy levels so patients can get the support they need. Screening tools and other resources will be discussed. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
