Medicare Distributes $75 Million in Meaningful Use Incentive Payments

On Thursday, May 26, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that $75 million had been distributed to providers for participation in the Medicare Meaningful Use incentive program.  Over 300 providers successfully attested to complying with all Stage 1 Meaningful Use requirements for a consecutive 90 day reporting period.  Medicare payments will continue on a monthly basis as more providers register and successfully attest.
