May 19th National Provider Call on EHR Incentive Programs

On Thursday, May 19th, at 1:30PM CST, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is hosting a call to assist providers in understanding Medicare and Medicaid EHR incentive programs.  This is an opportunity for Eligible Hospitals and Eligible Professionals to learn about Meaningful Use and discuss helpful resources regarding participation.  Continuing education credits for attending this call are available through the AAPC and AHIMA.
 
This call will cover:

• The definition of meaningful use
• The requirements for Stage 1 of meaningful use (2011 and 2012)
• How to attest to having met meaningful use
• Overview of the meaningful use objectives specification sheets
• Q&A about meaningful use
