Farzad Mostashari Named National Coordinator for HIT

Farzad Mostashari, MD, ScM, has been appointed to head the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.  Kathleen Sibelius, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, named Dr. Mostashari as the successor to Dr. David Blumenthal, effective immediately.
