CHITREC Executive Director Dr. Abel Kho Provides Testimony to HIT Policy Committee

On April 21, 2011, CHITREC Executive Director Dr. Abel Kho provided testimony from the Care Provider perspective for the Certification/Adoption Workgroup of the ONC HIT Policy Committee.  The HIT Policy Committee is a federal advisory committee that makes recommendations to the National Coordinator for Health IT on a policy framework for development and adoption of a nationwide health information infrastructure.  The committee is comprised of individuals chosen by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, the Comptroller General of the United States, and leaders representing both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
